Lily is BROODY again!?

It's that time of year again. Lily, is BROODY AGAIN!!! (AKA she wants to have baby chicks!) When she is broody, she tries to escape the coop by jumping up on the fence around their coop. She can get really annoying. She sits on the chickens eggs, not letting them lay!

I recently found a website where someone put a LIVE webcam in their chicken coop! You can watch the chickens do different things and it's really funny! I love the Hen Cam.

Introducing my chicken girls

These are all my cute hens. They are all very friendly and always want treats.




1st chicken - Lily. Grumpy, whiny, and the Queen of all the chickens.
2nd chicken - Lydia. Sweet, quiet, fast, feisty.
3rd chicken - Daisy. Thinks she's a dog. Wants to come in the house. One thing on her mind at ALL TIMES. Treats.
4th chicken - Ernestine. Whiny, loud. VERY TALKY. Cuddly.

Lily, the QUEEN

Lily is considered the Queen of all the chickens we have. She is the classic yellow, and gets to sit wherever she wants on the perch. She is so "royal" that my dad painted a picture of her for our living room!
